Traveller Oasis

Challenge :

Develop and implement an overall digital campaign to boost Traveller Oasis as information platform for visitors to Dhofar, including website design & development, social media management, mobile applications and digital advertising in Arabic and English.

Insight :

During Khareef season, visitors to Dhofar are considerable more. Most are from the GCC.11

Solution :

Each part of the campaign was planned to connect with one or more elements of the campaign, with all leading to the website as pillar of the project. The website was supported by mobile applications for Android and iOS, html emailers and presence on various social media platforms. Digital advertising further assisted with successfully promoting the campaign to an international audience and included video, social media and mobile advertising.

Challenge :

Introduce the 2014 Outlander to Oman.

Insight :

With it's unique style, class-leading space and comfort, the Outlander is the perfect crossover for those seeking the perfect city AND outdoor car.

Solution :

We knew people would be convinced once they experience driving the Outlander first-hand. So we invited them to visit a dedicated microsite where they can register for a test-drive. Those participating would then enter a draw to win a prize. We also produced 3 short videos taking during a test-drive about each of the above-mentioned benefits (style, space, comfort).

Let`s Rise Oman

Challenge :

Encourage healthier living in the Sultanate. Unhealthy eating habits and lifestyles have lead to an increase in health issues in Oman.

Insight :

With an estimated 50 per cent of the Omani population under the age of 25, the importance of adopting a more active and healthy lifestyle is best communicated online – through Twitter, Facebook and blogs.

Solution :

We created an umbrella website on which we could highlight a different healthcare issue every few months. Facebook and Twitter were utilized to inspire and share healthy living tips and trends, with the aim of helping people achieve their long-term health goals.

During the hottest months, people tend to holiday abroad in places like Dubai, Europe, Asia, etc. Our challenge was to encourage the people of Oman to see the Sultanate as a holiday destination during summer.

Insight :

People like it when they are offered special deals, just for them - so we came up with value-packed summer offers that were for residents only - giving families/residents the opportunity to explore their own country for little money.

Solution :

We created a series of specifically designed tour-routes for people to learn more about Oman and its many sights and landmarks. Based on these, users were given the opportunity to choose a deal of their liking from 4 options – Accommodation, Tours, Dining and Activities.

With many online and offline travel agencies to choose from, what is missing is a one-stop-shop for all travel-related demands – from plane tickets to customized inboud or outbound holidays, from cargo to car rental organization.

Together with PenguinCube, we focused on bringing to life the concept of “The Universe within reach”.  Clear information is provided on all services provided by Universal, with special offers highlighted on both the homepage and the various travel sections.
